Beautiful Destination Wedding
Our incredibly talented wedding photographer, Wendy, did a fantastic job of capturing Kierra and Frank’s special day at Dreams Natura. These photos definitely demonstrate Kierra’s modelling experience and Wendy’s ability to create magical moments.

How did you meet your partner?
We met in true millennial fashion, online! Bumble, to be specific in January 2019.
What is your favorite thing about your partner?
Kierra’s favorite thing about Frank is his cooking. Frank loves to smoke different meats on the weekends and always makes a big brunch on Sunday.
Frank’s favorite thing about Kierra is how supportive she is during basketball season while he is coaching. His schedule is insane and Kierra remains his biggest cheerleader.
What was the proposal like?
Frank proposed in the home they now share. He invited Kierra’s best friend to be present for the proposal and took Kierra completely by surprise. Kierra anticipated the proposal to happen in December around her birthday or possibly the new year, but Frank popped the question in October 2020 so Kierra had NO idea it was coming.
Why did you decide to have a destination wedding?
We chose a destination wedding because our families are spread out around the U.S. Everyone would have had to travel so hosting in a beautiful location seemed like a no brainer for us.
What was your favorite part of wedding planning?
The planning process was pretty stressful, but it was good to know we had each other’s support throughout it all.
What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
Kierra walking down the aisle. She chose to walk to Beyoncé’s version of At Last by Etta James and as soon as the music started the resort appeared to fall silent and all eyes were on her. Our wedding coordinator, Jennyfer gave Kierra great advice before she headed down the aisle “just focus on him and you will be okay.” While everyone was watching Kierra, she was focused on Frank and it was such an amazing feeling.
What was your experience like working with your Adventure Photos photographer?
Our photographer, Wendy, blew us away with her skill and also her kindness. Kierra models full time and has had an opportunity to work with many photographers so she truly appreciated that Wendy takes pictures to tell the story and not just aimlessly snapping pics.
What was your favorite wedding photograph and why?
It’s honestly hard for us to choose a single favorite, but if we had to pick just one it would be Kierra singing to Frank Killing Me Softly by the Fugees along with the saxophone. Wendy was able to capture the candid moment beautifully.
If you could give advice to newly engaged couples, what would it be?
Enjoy the journey. The engagement is short in comparison to dating and marriage so just soak it all in. Buy all the corny ”fiancé” trinkets or “bride to be boxes.” Find excuses to celebrate with your family and friends.
